Paris, Round Two
This afternoon, we'll be on our way to Paris! While we explore Berlin and Prague and get settled in Paris, I'll be taking a little break from blogging. I'm so looking forward to soaking in the city with old friends, midnight strolls along the Seine, and indulging in as many croissants and Nutella crepes as humanly possible. Dear French butter, you have been sorely missed! Unfortunately, I'll also have to find an apartment and take care of all those painful French formalities like opening a bank account (after my last experience, I'm only slightly traumatized). So next time I'll be writing to you from Paris, but until then, happy happy holidays to you & your loved ones! Where will you be ringing in the New Year?
Thanks so much for following my adventures in New York, and I hope you'll join me for the ride in Paris. See you soon!
And a few posts you may have missed -
Exploring Underground Paris
The Jardin des Tuileries in the Fall
A Real French Meal at the Marché aux Puces
Breakfast in The Alps

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the next few weeks. Happy Christmas!
ReplyDeletehappy and safe travels! stay warm.
ReplyDeletei am working NYE (as well as xmas eve! why are some corporations so stingy with their holiday policy?) but the moment i get off we will be jetting to a beloved friend's house for a spanish meal. she took me to her home in Barcelona a couple of years ago for the holidays and her parents prepared the most delightful meals and i've been wanting a recreation of it. my contribution will be a goat cheese cheesecake and wine!
Have fun, safe travels and stay away from the cold!! Merry, merry Christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I didn't realize how WHITE and LIGHT everything is! Wow! I wish you the best in setting up an account and finding an apartment and all that! Those are the types of things that are necessary hassles. However, once everything is taken care of, you don't have to worry as much! I hope that you enjoy exploring other cities (pictures, please, haha), and I hope that you had a wonderful, merry Christmas! I was able to surprise my family (my fiance and I road-tripped over there), but I will have to work on New Years.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas! Can't wait to visually travel to Paris with you and your blog.
